Recipe Tips:

Before you get started, you may want to consider the following:

  • In place of the 1/2 cup of chicken broth, if you're looking to slim down the recipe just use water!
  • Be careful when selecting your bread - You will want to look for a bread that has an open crumb and without a spongy texture. Some people prefer an artisan style bread as it's considered more study.
  • Chance to up the health factor - Choose whole grain or other similar options that are packed full of nutrients!
  • Prepare your bread the day before - It's easier and less messy to break apart the more moist, fresh bread and then store the cubes for a day or so. You will also end up with a lot less mess as opposed to crushing hard bread apart! :)
